Synchro Motorsport was founded in 1993 by a group of engineers from Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM), Honda's primary European manufacturing facility based in Swindon.
The team is run and operated by volunteer HUM associates and, in over 15 years of competition, has raced across the UK and Europe in several championships, including the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and the endurance racing Britcar Championship.
2011 sees the team return to a full season of racing with two cars in the Britcar Dunlop Production GTN Championship. The #69 Honda Jazz Type-R is piloted by veteran driver Dave Allan, while taking the reins of the #70 Honda Civic Type-R are academy drivers Alyn James and David Vincec.
